Vancouver Road Project
A bidder on a contract to construct a 10-lane Highway bridge with approaches, connecting Highways and interchanges retained our services to review the noise studies that were conducted as part of the planning process and assess their proposed design. We reviewed the studies and contract, remodelled several project sections and assessed the adequacy of the noise mitigation in the proposed design.
Review Vancouver Road Project
dBA Noise Consultants was hired to review a noise study performed as part of a Highway expansion project in Vancouver. We compared the baseline measurements and modelling to both the contracted scope and industry standards and suggested a few additions and changes.
Calgary Ring Road Project
dBA Noise Consultants was hired as part of the noise study for the southwest section of the Calgary ring road to assess ambient sound levels at residences to verify the road noise models. dBA Noise Consultants also provided long term noise monitoring services for the northern gravelpit. Solar powered noise monitors were deployed for a period of almost four years. dBA noise Consultants is proud of the fact that there has been hardly any downtime during that period, results were reliably provided and the client was very happy with our services.
