Peaking Power Plant
dBA Noise Consultants acted as the expert witness for noise for the developers and future owner of a proposed gas-fired peaking power plant, consisting of three planned gas turbines. We were able to demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt that the noise limits were unlikely to be exceeded, thereby helping to clear the way to obtain the necessary permits.
Heritage Wind Power Project
dBA Noise Consultants provided expert witness services for the developer of the Heritage Wind Power Project in AUC proceedings. Due to other planned and constructed wind power projects nearby the available noise room for Heritage was threatened and needed to be secured.
Lanfine Wind Power Project
dBA Noise Consultants provided expert witness services for the interveners in the AUC proceedings for the approval of the Lanfine Wind Power Project. We conducted an ambient sound level survey to demonstrate that actual ambient sound levels in the area were likely lower than the assumed ambient sound level as included in AUC Rule 012.
